Saturday Before Valentine's Day

Come help us celebrate the release of our newest sweet wine on Saturday February 11th.  We will release the new bottling of the 2010 Sweet Dreams White Port.  This is the perfect bottle to share with your sweetheart on that Special Day. 

Sweet Dreams is made from a blend of traditional grapes.  This is our most exquisite wine that brings out all the natural flavors of our grapes draped in rich velvety layers of natural sweetness.  It is very similar to an icewine, but being a port it is "icewine on steroids"...  Sweet Dreams is always produced in very small quantities and we sell out quickly.  In 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 we produced less than 50 bottles.  There was no Sweet Dreams in 2006 due to a failed crop of Blanc du Bois following a late spring frost. This year we plan on releasing 80 bottles of the 2010 vintage.

To help us get into the right Valentine's spirit we will have live music by The Funk Factory.  They will play romantic songs from the 60's, including the original Sweets for my Sweet by the Searchers. The band will be playing between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM inside our winery production building.  There is no cover charge so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the music. As always we will have wines and light snacks available during the performance.  The tasting room will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM.
